How should I choose which universities to go to?

There are now over 300 universities, higher education colleges and further education colleges offering HE courses in the UK. So it’s natural some students feel daunted by the large number of institutions to choose from, and need some guidance on how to choose the right ones for them.

There are many factors to consider when selecting your universities and colleges, e.g. does it offer all the facilities you require? Do you want to attend a large or small institution? Based on your expected A level grades, are you likely to get on to their course? Etc.
