Ucl- great uni,was my 1st choice when I applied, and i wasn't disappointed.
Social life is good-there's always something going on at the union such as Cocktails every Thursday which is a big night out for everyone and lots of fun and Sports night on Wednesdays.
As UCL is at Euston, it's close to Leicester Square,Oxford Street and Covent Garden so one is never lacking in something to do!Going out can be expensive being in London but you're guaranteed a good night out even if you become a little poorer in the morning! (There's always a notorious nightclub called Hombres to go to which is nice, cheap and very cheesy!)
I'm studying medicine and have just started my 3rd year doing clinicals. UCL and Royal Free Medical school have merged and now the course is 6 years instead of 5 as an Intercalated BSc is a compulsory part of the course.
It's been great fun and as long as you balance work with play you'll have a brilliant time. All in all I've really enjoyed being at UCL and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to study in a wonderful city.
